I’ve been doing graphics designing as a hobby for 5 years, and this is an archive of the banners I’ve designed in the past 2 years (:

Comments: Y’know that smexy sultry first line of Sho’s song, Yume De Ii Kara? That was the inspiration behind the banner. I designed it with a dreamy theme and light colours to make the banner dreamy (that’s the whole point!). Would this banner make you want to appear in Sho-kun’s dreams every day? xD

Comments: Sho-kun just screamed to me: “PUT SMEXY ME INTO A BANNER NOW!” And so I did, because the piccie is just L.O.V.E. Minimal textures were used in the blends, and I put two of the same pic of Sho because I want L.O.V.E x2. More colour and emphasis was put on right Sho-kun, because I want MAXIMUM L.O.V.E! xD

Comments: funny bit: I only spent 20 minutes on this banner, when a plainer banner – the Arashi one above – took about an hour T_T Used textures and picture blends. As for the excerpt… it’s rather random xD I mean, I’ve always thought that despite his baka-ness, there’s a really kind and selfless heart which is the REAL Aiba Masaki. Ne?

Comments: I. LOVE. THIS. BANNER. Because it has 3 pics of Jun-kun in it xD. Okay, aside from that, I just like how this banner’s so dreamy, and it’s pink! I blended lots of textures, as usual. Gave it a pink scheme, add that ‘heart’ brush and ‘Matsumoto Jun’. *drools*

Comments: Okay, I never learn my lesson. I just can’t stop USING GOLD TEXTURES. They’re so prettiful… and Jun’s sooo hawt in this picture. Naturally this banner needs a dark, mysterious theme to it. So, lots of texture-blending and brushes. I added those little boxes of my favourite body parts of Jun (loool), so the banner isn’t so dull.

Comments: This is a tribute to my current favourite song, HAPPINESS! I looove this picture. And no textures! I only spent half an hour on this – I’ve only added brightness, colour, the text and the border. I wanna keep it simple – because the picture is meant to be happy! <3333

Comments: The picture is from Arashi’s 07/08 calendar (or so I read). Picture = HAWT. Too bad Jun-kun’s at the corner… but Sho and Aiba in the middle is enough xD. I desaturated the picture a little and filtered it with gold/brown hue. Did a few texture-blending as well as minimal brushes. Don’t they look cool in gold? xD

Comments: HYD ending made me cry with happiness and joy. So instantly anything that makes me emotional deserves to be designed into a beautiful, melancholic banner. (or maybe it’s because of Matsumoto Jun-kun ?). The red/gold layers are to blend with the dusk scheme from the pictures/scene, the kiss, and the quote… *starts crying again*

Comments: HYD fans should know where these pics came from. I’ve always loved how F4 was introduced… so haawt. And again, these guys need a banner in honour of their haawt-ness. Pale gold theme is… well, self-explanatory. Flower design refers to ‘Flower 4′, which is what F4 stands for (don’t ask.). The quote: well, those who get on F4’s bad side are basically dead meat (again, HYD fans understand), so, there ya go ^_^.

Comments: The spread on Teen Vogue captivated me. I’m serious! I thought the whole picture was really banner-worthy (had to edit the picture so that Rupert is standing beside Emma xD). The whole colour scheme and brushes are meant to sorta make the trio stand out. The quote, ‘Friends Forever’ refers to the HP trio, but these Britons have respect and strong affinity between them, so it applies too!

Comments: One of my fave J-singers is Angela Aki, and her song ‘Sakurairo’, which means ‘colour of cherry blossoms’, is exceptionally beautiful. So, as you know sakura is pale pink, automatically the colour scheme chosen for the banner is pink. Random brushes added – sakura petals, butterfly wing, etc. This is also the the first banner I did using custom brushes!

Comments: A banner designed for a fanfic writer’s story about James/Lily. Random celebrities are portrayed as the characters xD. Well, the story isn’t actually as mysterious as the banner, but heck. I gave the banner a cloudy theme (I seem to love gold colour themes, eh?), and in this banner I focused mainly on the colour-blending of the people, and the blends of the layers and stuff. Wheee~

Comments: Yesh, I used to have a huuuge crush on Crissy (much to my dad’s dismay). I hated still hate his choice of girlfriends, who tend to be older than him by a decade. So, I paired him up with a decent-looking British model. The name and stuff? Don’t ask. xD. I had a little problem getting the pics of the 2 peeps to blend with the background. Mysterious green theme chosen because I was feeling mysterious. Muahaha.

Comments: A birthday banner designed for a V.Rossi-mad friend. This banner was designed in a simple fashion – minimal brushes and more blends on the Rossi pictures and the background. And yes, another pale gold/brown colour scheme! Whoo~ I kinda like the 2nd icon of Rossi on the bike – so cool xD.

Comments: A banner companion to one of my earliest fanfics, Hermione/Draco shipped. xD. A dark theme was done – even Tom and Emma’s expressions aren’t very happy. The background’s pretty dull, so I added pale snow brushes, along with a quote. I wasn’t very satisfied with how this banner turned out, but nevertheless I had it done.

Comments: Another banner for another of my HP fanfics! Again, Hermione/Draco shipping. I wasn’t really Photoshop-enthusiastic on that day, so this banner wasn’t really done out of love, lol. But for some reason I grew to love it! Green colour theme – because I rarely use green hues (you’ve noticed!), along with layer blends.

Comments: This was done during the period of FFXII obsession. xD. I was looking through the FFXII promo pics and saw this one (ZOMG YUNA?!?!?!), from Princess Ashe’s wedding, and it was designed into a banner. This is one of my simplest banners – I only did ONE layer blend, played around with the Colour Hues and Photo Filter, no brushes and a couple icons to go with it. One of my fave banners xD.

Comments: So, I thought the cover of Jesse’s album was pretty cool, so I turned it into a banner, which turned out I didn’t like it, lol! The name ‘Glimpsing Alysium’ is pretty random, and I did a crazy lot of layer-blending and colour scheme-changing, that I spent close to 3 hours completing this. *sigh*

Comments: I never really like Kate Bosworth. Maybe it’s those weird impressions I have that behind that pretty girl demeanor, she seems evil. But this particular picture really caught me observing, so I transformed it into a random banner. “Eeek, gold colour theme again!”. Lots of layer-blending, took about 2 hours doing this banner, but nevertheless me likey. The whole picture seems almost perfect. But I still hate Ms Bosworth. (She broke up with Orlando Bloom – one of my favourite guy!)

Comments: One of my fave banners! And that pic of Crissy in the middle/left is my favourite Crissy pic. xD. ‘Tis also the first time I tried doing dividing sections in a banner, and the results are AWWW-SOME. Okay, exaggeration. But still. I gave an overall mysterious green theme to this, did some colour-editing on the Crissy pics and layer-blends. The quote is from an early magazine interview, where Crissy said playing for Manchester United and the Portugal national team is ‘like a dream’. Awwwh.

Comments: TEXTURES. LOTS OF ‘EM. Another gold-colour scheme… and one hawt pic of Crissy. I blended lots of pictures together and balanced the colour. The text is… random, seeing as lots of my friends think he looks evil/mysterious in that picture. I, for one, love the picture. Whee~

Comments: Sooo desirable, me thought. xD. This picture is from a GQ mag cover, and sooo hawt. I did minimal texture-blending on this and added icons of Crissy so that it’s not so dull. A blue hue is a definite change from the usual gold theme. And yesh, that’s one drool-worthy pic of him!

Name: Min Hyo-Rin’s Choices

Comments: I still marvel at the number of banners I did for one of my all-time favourite Korean dramas, Goong. But I had such a fun time doing them! So, Hyo-Rin is the boyfriend-stealer in the drama. She’s bitchy, but she’s pretty pitiful (and darn beautiful too.), so here’s an angsty banner. I think this banner’s a little dull, since I focused so much on the textures that the pics of Hyo-Rin blurred up. I love the text though. xD

Name: Endless Love

Comments: WTF A PURPLE SCHEME! What a change! Too much attention to the textures that I ignored the blurred pictures. Sigh. So, I made a banner in support of the Chae-Gyung/Shin shipping. It’s kinda a frustrating/heart-melting union, but they make a good couple. And they made me cry! And yes, Shin is a prince and Chae-Gyung is the commoner who married the prince. Such fairytale!

Name: Goong – Palace

Comments: My official banner of the K-Drama, Goong! Hyo-Rin, the ballet dancer/prince’s ex, Yul, the ex-Crown Prince, Chae-Gyung, the commoner-turned-princess, and Shin, the cold and lonely Crown Prince. Loved the story ?. So, I gave this banner a pink scheme (a change from all the usual colours) with a little texture blend. I created the text, too. Which inspired the ‘Endless Love’ banner above. xD

Name: Yul – Once a Crown Prince

Comments: I loved and hated Yul. For one, the first time we’re introduced to Yul he was reading Harry Potter! But he has an evil mother who wants her son’s throne back, and he wants his cousin, Shin, to give up on Chae-Gyung. Sigh… the K-drama complexity. Anywho, the texture I used on this banner has a cool blue colour, and so I stuck to it by filtering the pics of Yul to a blu-ish hue. Someone told me this was the best out of all the Goong banners I’ve done… I don’t know about that, though. I love all of my banners xD.

Name: Shin and Chae Gyung Forever

Comments: Okay, I admit this – out of all the Goong banners, this is my favourite. Why? I LOVE THOSE PICTURES TO BITS. I even successfully blended the textures with the pictures (for once), and the gold colour theme definitely worked with the pictures. *le sigh*. I did spend hours blending lots and lots of textures, but it paid off. I love this banner! Especially with that main picture of them on the right and the text… Awwwh.

Comments: I was listening to Lee Hom’s album, ‘Gai Shi Ying Xiong‘ when I did this banner. I loved the promo pics of the album, and used them! I used a dark blue hue this time, and did some blends for the background and minimal blends on the pictures. The chinese characters are Lee Hom’s name in chinese, and the text refers to how he captivated my heart with his songs. xD.
