So much for getting back on my fangirling feet – I’ve been exceptionally busy with my new job all week! It’s tiring ne. I’m taking public transportation to and fro (switching between two different train lines), I get up at 6am and reach the nearby station at 7am to avoid the rush hour (even then it takes me 45 minutes to travel to the office), and I only reach home at 7pm – I finish work about 5:30pm and it takes over an hour to travel due to the manic rush hour. I’m telling you it’s maddening! D: There are many instances where I’d to watch two trains go by because it was just too incredibly packed. For someone who hasn’t really travelled by public transportation… *whimpers*
How ever tiring it gets, though, it’s kinda fun in a way because it’s reminds me of the way the Japanese travel to work by subway in Tokyo. 70% of the passengers are plugged into their mp3/iPod (including me – with my Arashi songs <333) and my friend is the only one I’ve ever seen who reads her manga all the way through the journey XDDDDD Now I’m waiting for my dad to get me an iPod Nano so I can watch Arashi TV shows as I travel to/from work! XD
There are 21 other trainees altogether (including my best friend and I), 60% boys and 40% girl, and they’re such a fascinating/amusing bunch so lemme give you a rundown on all of them XD There’s a tomboy whom when I first met I didn’t know she was a girl (dresses like a man, sports short spiky hair) until she spoke in a cute girly voice LOL! She’s funny, though, and my friend and I hang out with her the most. There’s another girl who’s kinda pretty, very sweet and polite but kinda quiet though. The other girls are… (I feel bad to say this) weird. One looks like a female Wayne Rooney who asks really irrelevant questions, but she takes a REALLY long time to explain her point which is annoying. Another is… absolutely weird and awkward and downright annoying. There’s this once the trainer was telling us about a discount card which as a no-purchase-of-alcohol policy, and this girl asks, “What about food which contains alcohol, like chicken?” IT WAS SO WTFFFFF. And she kept looking at my notes over my shoulder, it’s so annoying T_T The boys are… I dunno. Some of them are painfully immature and chauvinistic (typical of Malaysian boys argh!), some are incredibly mature and professional and speaks fluent English (there’s this guy who speaks with an accent – we’re still figuring out whether the accent is developed in Australia or US, it’s such a mystery! XD and there’s this other guy who’s really funny with his poker-faced jokes, I had a chat with him once and we really relate to each other on a lot of things – especially this dark part of my life where I felt he really understood me because he experienced it – and he’s really cool. Love how he always goes “…sup.” every time I pass by him. Yes I have a minor crush on him XD), and there’s this two boys whom my friend and I are craaaaazy about! XD At first they were the most quiet bunch of the boys, but gradually they began to speak up more and ask a lot of questions during our product training. I really love how, despite not being very fluent in English, they really put in an effort to ask questions. And they’re kinda cute so… <3333
So far we’ve learnt about all the products – basically just information about hotel rooms and facilities, and packages and promotions. I’ve to study them all now (1.5 inch thick of notes! T_T) because there’s a test tomorrow! It determines whether we’ll be put on floor to answer inquiry questions, or we proceed to systems training where we learn to book reservations. I dunno but I just want to do well and show off to those idiotic boys. I’m very pro-girl power when it comes to boys XDDDDD
Gah I’m being so long-winded. Gomen XD Well the long rant is to satisfy my week-long absence anyways!
AAAAAAAND. I think… and I don’t think… I’m obsessed with Twilight. I dunno, it’s such a complicated and contradictory love/hate relationship XD I’LL GO INTO DETAILS NEXT TIME~ because it warrants a long post to explain why I love and hate Twilight. Buuuut I absolutely loveeeeeee Robert Pattinson. I always have ever since he played Cedric in Goblet of Fire movie… he’s so sexy and hawt and painfully awkward and unabashedly blunt <333 I really hate it when I come across people who totally forgot about his Cedric role and only noticed him when he played a vampire, or even worse, don’t even know he’s British! Sooooo Hugh Laurie. Oh wells. Like I said, I’ll rant next time xD
