I think I have an ice skating curse…

where, in every time I go ice-skating ever since I was 9, I would skate so ever flawlessly without landing on my butt, but ONLY to fall flat on the ice and getting my bottom wet when an idiot would crash into me.

AND IT’S SO UNFAIR THAT MY FRIEND WHO SKATES LIKE A BEAVER DOESN’T FALL AT ALL! D:

So what happened is that yesterday my friends and I went ice-skating to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and during my happy-joy-joy gliding this dude skidded towards me OUT OF NOWHERE, and at first he didn’t knock into me, but he GRABBED me for support and I fell! He got up and tried to pull me up, but because the ice was slippery I kept sliding back on my butt, and I started laughing like mad WTF XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Then another guy, who’s like KLDSNGKLSDNIODNHHAWT<3, came to the rescue and they both pulled me up, but because I was still sliding, I actually HUGGED hawtguy. Like, had my arms thrown around his shoulders, then only I could get up. I kept saying “Thank you!” to him and skated off, not before throwing a glare at the guy who knocked me. OHGOSH I SERIOUSLY HAVE NO SHAME XDDDDDDDDDD

The Lantern Festival is approaching and my mom and I bought lanterns, and, despite reaching an age of adult maturity, we turned off the lights in the living room and the patio at night just so to play with lanterns XD and we hung them all over the patio! It’s quite pretty, but then the drivers in passing-by cars kept staring at us LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL XD

I used to loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee playing lanterns, and at night my brothers and sister and I would run around the garden chasing each other with out Hello Kitty or Pikachu lanterns XD I still love playing lanterns! And I’m gonna admit I almost wanted to buy a Shifu (the red panda master from Kungfu Panda) lantern. I guess I’m still a child at heart XDDDDDDDD

Y’know, I wouldn’t have minded if Lee Chong Wei lost to Lin Dan. I mean, it’s hard to beat the world’s top seed in an pressured atmosphere so aggressively supportive of China. And I mean they’re REALLY aggressive – I mean, the cheering for Lin Dan was so effing deafening that you can barely hear “CHONG WEI KAH YAO!” D:

BUT SERIOUSLY.
TO LOSE IN SUCH A PATHETIC WAY IS LIKE KLDNGLDKSGN438THG8DEHGKLNSDHKLSDH.

We all know he can do sooooooooo much better. At first I assumed he was going to play strategy rather than power, since he seemed rather reserved in the first round (conserving energy and then steppng up his game – that was what he did in the match with Lee Hyun-il). But then you can see clearly in the 2nd round that he was in fact crumbling under pressure. Firstly, he had the weight of the country on his shoulder (and it’s hell of a weight considering he’s our only hope for gold), and secondly, THE DAMNED CHINESE CROWD CRUSHED HIS SPIRIT T_T Yeah, he was totally crushed. It’s so obvious how he kept falling for the same trap and making the same mistakes over and over. I couldn’t watch the rest of the match. t’was too painful T_T Hence, I came to rant.

Ah wells. I just hope Malaysians aren’t gonna be hard on him. One thing Malaysians are so bloody damned good at is pointing the blaming finger without really analysing the situation. That and not giving shit about helping others D:

I means seriouslyyyyyyyyyy. The 1000ish electric drums with lights? The moving blocks that formed waves (and were manned by people hiding under the boxes)? The gymnasts synchronising the dance and the calligraphy-painting together? The footprint-shaped fireworks leading to the Bird’s Nest? The European singer singing Chinese fluently? The ZOMGGINORMOUS torch that NO ONE KNEW WAS THERE until the torch-bearer flew the perimeter of the roof and reached the torch?

HELL YEAH IT SO OUTDID ATHENS BY 196482 TIMES.

(although I’m convinced they probably spent billions of yuan on pyrotechnics, aside from the other billions they set for the gymnasts and dancers XDDDDDDDD)

I’m telling you, tomorrow everyone will be marvelling about the indescribable spectacle of the opening ceremony – newspapers, commentators, blogs. It’s just THAT good that it could leave you awestruck.

SERIOUSLY IT WAS SOOO HILARIOUS. MY BROTHERS EVEN CAME TO WATCH WITH ME <3 I’ve never laughed SOOOO hard watching AnS ever since Aiba’s crack boardgame XDDDDDD It was so noisy and loud! The boys were rushing through the segments and kept cutting into each other’s lines. Sho-chan’s cooking segment proves just how much he fails at cooking, because he got yelled at by Ogu-san for putting his bare hands into the rice, and Matsujun went like “Hmph you fooooool…” *cooks instead*. OH SUCH FAILURE <3

Btw, doesn’t Sho look like he just got out of bed? I mean, the holiday T-shirt, the striped pyjama pants, the flip-flops – it’s like after shooting he can jump right into bed in what he wore XDDDDDDD

And I noticed everyone was all genki – like how Aiba called Sho ‘Sakurai-chan’ and Sho called Nino ‘Nino-chan’, how kawaiiii~
