Bon Odori 2008 – possible fangirl meetup?

So after 4 years of procrastination, I’ve managed to convince my bestie to tag along with me to the Bon Odori festival tomorrow! Mostly because MY URGENT CRAVING FOR GREEN-TEA ICE CREAM HAS BEEN LOOOOOOOOOOONG OVERDUE. And because the food there is a total heartbreaker when you look at the price totally rocks, AND THERE’S FREEFLOW GREEN TEA ICE CREAM, and loads of hawt Japanese guys to drool over <3 <3 <3 If I see any Arashi-lookalike I swear I will flail and flail so much and scare them away with my fangirling XDDDDD AND NO I DO NOT WANT TO IMAGINE SEEING A SHO-LOOKALIKE. YOU DO NOT WANT TO IMAGINE, TOO.

Btw, if you’re not sure what Bon Odori is, it’s a Japanese festival held every summer to honour the dead/deceased. It’s sorta a sacred festival, but here in Malaysia it’s celebrated as a Japanese cultural event – loads of Japanese food and dancing! Clickey Uncle Wiki for more information XD

I know it’s really, really, REALLY in the last minute, but we could hold an impromptu meet-up or something if there’re any Arashi fangirls going XD I think it’s really suitable to have a meetup there, since it’s a Japanese festival and there’s Japanese food and Arashi is Japanese… SEE THE CONNECTION THERE? XDDDDDDDD

I know I said before (quite vehemently if I recall correctly…) that I would NEVER buy another Arashi single, due to my distaste towards the waste of a perfectly good Japanese-manufactured disc that contains only 2-3 songs when it could’ve been a 14-song album. I’M THAT PARANOID YES. BLAME IT ON STEP AND GO. XD

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on the truth single ever since I got obsessed with it. I just love it. Seriously. I mean, HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE TRUTH?!?!?!?! HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THE OHNO SOLOS AND THE AWESOME VOCALS AND THE ORCHESTRAL BACKGROUND?!?!? YOU’D BE TOTALLY COLD IF YOU DON’T THINK IT’S POSSIBLY ONE OF ARASHI’S BEST SONGS EBAAAAR~ *glares*

So. I preordered a Regular Edition copy! I wouldn’t have been able to afford it until my brother offered to lend the money, kyaaaaaaaaah arigatou my kawaii brother totally supportive of my very-expensive hobby in hopes it would bribe me to shut up about Arashi all the time LOL <33333333
