Seriously, you’d think Arashi is drunk/high on sugar/coffee when you’re watching this video. They’re hyper than my own brothers on sugar-high! :O

I’ve provided an English translation script (from the Chinese subtitles in the video). It’s not exactly useful, but I feel useful with translation for once! xD

[Camera rolls, and Sho's at the table]
Sho: There’s something wrong…
Nino: Cut!
Ohno: There’s something wrong…
Nino: Cut!
Sho: [glares at Ohno] Don’t follow me.
Nino: Cut!
Ohno: [looks casual] I’m not following you (actually Ohno said ‘copy cat’)
Nino: Cut!
Sho: Who’re you calling copy cat?
Nino: Cut!
Ohno: That’s a good comeback.
Nino: Cut!
Sho: Thank you.
[Sho and Ohno shakes hand and, er, Ohno goes crazy.]
[IN THE BUS.]
Ohno: [behind the camera] You’re on camera again!
Nino: Again?
Ohno: Yup, again.
Nino: Sorry! [turns to the camera] I’m Ninomiya, nice to meet you! We’re on the bus right now! [climbs the storage  space] I’m such a LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY man! (tashiichaan thought Nino said ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY MAN. Lool) It’s great! Now, let’s meet the other guys! First there the guy with drums – Sakurai Sho!
[Sho's cameo]
Nino: Next it the guitar guy – Matsumoto Jun!
[Jun jumps to the back of the bus]
Jun: Everyone’s great! Everyone in Nagoya – don’t you feel great?!
Nino: Next, it’s the guy with the keyboard – Ohno Satoshi!
[Ohno climbs over the seats]
Nino: He looks like he’s swimming!
Ohno: Yeah!
Nino: Yeah, keyboard guy! Lastly we’ve the guy on bass – Aiba Masaki! Yeah!
Aiba: [in the storage space] Yeaaah!
Nino: Our show in Nagoya’s over, how does everyone feel? How d’you like Nagoya?
Sho: Very happy.
Aiba: It’s great!
Nino: Really great, huh?
[Jun climbs around]
Nino: Leader, what about you?
Ohno: I’ve no idea!
Nino: What do you mean, Leader?
Ohno: Feels like we’ve been to a weird place.
Nino: That’s wrong!
Ohno: [climbs around] It’s the last beam!
Jun: Nice beam! Nice beam!
Ohno: The last beam was really cool, huh?
Nino: It was really fun at Nagoya, don’t you think?
Sho: Yeah.
Nino: We should go back another time, everyone agrees?
Aiba: Yes!
Nino: [turns to Aiba] You, what’s your name?
Aiba: Aiba Masaki desu!
Nino: What’s your name?
Aiba: Aiba Masaki desu!
[both cracks up]
Aiba: I’m feeling really happy! Let’s play!
Nino: What’re we playing?
Aiba: Something fun!
Nino: Let’s play hide and seek! I’m counting to 10! [counts] Okay I’m done! I’ve found Sakurai-kun! Look there’s Matsumoto-kun! Where’re the others hiding? Where’re they hiding? [goes to the back] I’ve found someone! But it’s too dark I can’t see! C’mon get up, I’ve caught you!
Aiba: I’m caught! I’m caught! I’m caught!
Nino: Now it’s just Leader left! Leader?! Leader where’re you?!
[Ohno pops up at the back seat]
Nino: Ah found you!
Aiba: Hide and seek is really fun! It’s so tiring…
Nino: Everyone’s tired.
[Ohno goes high on climbing around again]
Nino: Everyone did it, huh? How about another time?
Everyone: Yeah!
[Cut]
Nino: [sober] For that scene before, really sorry about that. Everyone seems to be asleep now, so let’s take a look at their sleeping faces! Let’s go peek! [Camera turns to the empty seats] Eh? That’s strange, where’s everybody?
[actually everyone's in...the storage space above the seat!]
Everyone: Yeaaah!
[Ohno comes out from behind a seat shirtless]
Nino: Leader, you’re not wearing a shirt!
Ohno: [bounces] Yeaah!
Nino: Look, Masaki’s asleep.
Aiba: [surprises] Yeaah!
Everyone: Yeah!
Nino: Look, Leader without a shirt! No shirt!
Ohno: No shirt!
Nino: No shirt! Eh Leader where did you go again? Leader?!
Ohno: [pops up behind a seat] BEAM!
Nino: Nice beam!
[Next scene - sober Nino again.]
Nino: Hi again, we’re back from Nagoya, I’m Ninomiya Kazunari. The time right now is… 4:30. So, why, at 4:30, do we have to gather here again? So to speak, there’s something incredible. It’s something really happy and comes once every year… [pauses] You can guess what we’re doing… there, Studio B. What’re we doing here in the first place? Yes, we’re back from Nagoya to record Matsumoto’s birthday song. So, when we’ve arrived on the bus, the 3 of us pretended to sleep, and Matsumoto-san was the only one to go back home, so there was only 3 of us left – wait, 4 of us left. We’ve got to get up early to start working and now we’re here at the recording studio! Come on, come on!
[inside, Aiba is singing]
Nino: Aiba, you can’t even memorise your lyrics! Oi, Aiba!
Aiba: [turns to the camera] Yeaaaah!
Nino: Can you memorise your lyrics now? Memorise it for me, okay?
Aiba: Okay!
Nino: Next we’re going to Sakurai!
Sho: Yeah! Yeah!
Nino: So, Sakurai, have you memorised your lyrics yet?
Sho: Haven’t memorised! Yeah!
Nino: Please memorise your lyrics!
Sho: I will, yeah!
Nino: Lastly it’s Ohno Satoshi!
Ohno: [takes some time to notice the camera] Yeaah!
Nino: Leader, have you memorised your lyrics?
Ohno: Yup. Memorised it all!
Nino: Oooh, what’s this?
Ohno: [hides with the lyrics] It’s nothing, you’re so annoying!
Nino: Do your best! Or not we’ve got to stay in late. [appears on camera] After this our song will be recording on camera too. We’ve got to memorise this weird song, so stay tuned! Bye bye!
[Next scene.]
Nino: We’re recording again, and yes we’re at the recording booth! [Sho and Ohno are at the mics] C’mon, say a normal ‘Yeah’!
Sho: Yeah! [goes to Ohno] Here’s our leader, yeah! (tashiichan – nice shirt, Sho-kun ^_^)
Nino: Which part of the lyrics don’t you understand?
Ohno: Right from the beginning!
[Aiba singing in the background]
Ohno: Oh, so it says ‘beautiful’.
Nino: Hey you’re faking it. [scene goes to the lyrics] Look, it’s Matsumoto’s song.
Ohno: …For you, the last beautiful person…
Aiba: There’s this one part I don’t know how to sing.
Sho: We won’t know how to sing without actually trying it! C’mon let’s try once.
Nino: You’re right.
Sho: [starts singing].
Nino: Yeah, that’s right. Start from A note, that’s very important.
Sho: But the tune won’t come out right!
Nino: From A, then it’s B note.
Sho: [tries singing] You are…
Nino: That’s better. Very good!
Sho: I’ll sing for you guys then. [sings off tune]
Ohno: Feels right. Lets try practising with the music again.
Nino: Okay, that’s all, guys!

Things To Do When You’re Sick

[ post is inspired by tashiichaan's horrible Friday of diarrhoea and vomitting. ]

It definitely isn’t fun when you wake up one random morning and feel weak and more exhausted than usual. A flu and a runny nose can be lethal enough to put a stop to your daily routine (going to work/school, run errands, appointments, updating your blog etc), but what more when you’re burning up with a fever or a chicken pox, and due to exhaustion that you’re confined to your bed.

Sleeping the whole day sounds like a dream to anyone, but what do you do after 12 hours of nothing but sleep? Yes, you’re tired and unwell, but sleeping would only make you feel worse if you’ve been in bed for the entire day. It seems daunting to lie down in bed staring at the ceiling, obviously unwilling to fall sleep. You don’t necessarily have to lie down and force yourself into La La Land, there’re tons of things you can even if you’re sick!

THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU’RE SICK

1) Spoil yourself with the TV – use your sickness as an excuse to hog the TV. Being sick also means you can catch up on your soap operas/dramas/TV shows. If not, put on a movie to watch (just nothing depressing, because it’ll just infect you with a depressing mood!). I find Jim Carrey movies funny, but when you’re on medication it’s just absolutely hilarious.

2) Read a book – duh! Read a novel or something light (comics/manga might do the trick), and have your supplies by your bedside table – juice, medication, tissue box, etc. An entertainment magazine might do to, if you’re not the type to read books.

3) Be a spoiled brat – don’t be afraid to demand things from those who’re living with you! Being sick = not able to do lots of stuff = getting people to do it for you. When I was very sick, my mom would make some food for me to eat, and my brother would get my stuffed cat and my blanket over to the living room (where I was watcing TV). You can even ask them to grab the TV remote for you!

4) Listen to music – by that I mean calm, soothing ones, not Metallica or Linkin Park. Play something that’s peaceful to your ears (said rock/heavy metal bands aren’t peaceful, mind you), it may be instrumental or jazz or ballads. It helps with the minor depressing mood you’re having or the frustration of being stuck in bed.

5) Indulge yourself with food – if you can take it. Sick people always find their excuses in food – like tomato soup, chicken porridge, (more outrageous) coffee and cookies ice cream, ginger ale. If the mentioned food aren’t suitable for you (and your stomach), a bowl of oatmeal cereal with raisins, or a bowl of your favourite fruits may do wonders to your mood. Just get someone to fetch them for you!

6) Play an adventure game or a quiz – y’know those adventure books where you choose your destiny? They’re sorta your portable, less advanced RPG games you have on your PS2. If you don’t have one in your cupboard, then try quizzes that you find in magazines. Cheat if need be – it’s time-consuming and that’s all it matters!
